Witnesses in Baghdad

The next issue of Oasis review, scheduled on May 2008, will deal with the theme of the Testimony: a series of voices from all over the world, from various situations and different skills, will draw the profile of this salient value for our present time.
An anticipation of this close examination is provided through our newsletter by the disarming, in its essentiality, interview with H.E. Mgr. Shlemon Warduni, Chaldean Auxiliary Bishop of Baghdad, few days after the coordinated attacks against Christian churches.

From Pakistan Mehboob Sada, President of the Christian Study Center in Islamabad- Rawalpindi, writes to us telling about his last personal meeting with Benazir Bhutto and the possible role local Christians could play in this crucial season for his country;

From Syria Nahla Baghado, member of "Bâtir pour rester", (To Build to Remain), explains to us the challenge of this new organization involved in building concrete projects to convince local Christians not to abandon their country.
