Rafic Greiche

Rafic Greiche was born in 1958 in Cairo. He sudied theology at the Faculty of Religious and Human Sciences of the Council of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Sakhakine. In 1992, he was ordained priest in the Roman Catholic Patriarchy and is now parish priest at Saint Cyril in Heliopolis, Cairo. He is an expert at the Council of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops, secretary of the Information Committee for the Catholic Church and director and spokesperson of the Press Office of the Catholic Church in Egypt. In 2000, he was appointed member of the Association of the Religious Brotherhood. From 2010, he is also president of the Excecutive Bureau's Information Committee of the "House of the Family", al-Azhar University.
