A new Catholic university in Juba, a sign of hope for young people
From Juba, southern Sudan, Fr José Vieira, a member of the Combonian order who works for a local Catholic radio, Bakita, writes to tell us about the recent inauguration of a new Catholic university in a country hard at work to pull itself up after a devastating civil war. Such an institution shows the commitment of the local diocese and an NGO, the OVCI, to the education of young people, which is the only path towards building a future for the next generation.
