Tel Aviv, 31. This morning an Israeli army commando intercepted a flotilla coming from Turkey and directed towards Gaza which carried philo-Palestinian activists and humanitarian aid. The Jesuit Federico Lombardi, director of the Holy See's Newsroom, has expressed great concern and sorrow for the event. «The Holy See — he said — is always against the use of violence, wherever it comes from, as it always hinders the search for peaceful solutions, which are the only far-sighted ones ».
