Twal Fouad

Born on 23 October 1940 in Madaba (the Holy Land). Ordained priest of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem of the Latins on 29 June 1966. Consecrated Archbishop of Tunis on 31 May 1995; since 8 September 2005 he has been Substitute Archbishop of Jerusalem. He succeeded Michel Sabbah as the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem in 2008.
