S. E. Mons. Maroun Lahham è nato il 20 Luglio 1948 a Irbed, in Giordania. È stato nominato sacerdote nel 1972 a Gerusalemme ed è stato per dieci anni rettore del seminario del Patriarcato Latino. Nell'ottobre 2005 è stato nominato vescovo di Tunisi.
