S. E. Mgr. Maroun Lahham est né le 20 juillet 1948 à Irbed, en Jordanie. Il a été ordonné prêtre en 1972 à Jérusalem et a été pendant dix ans recteur du séminaire du Patriarcat Latin. En octobre 2005 il a été nommé évêque de Tunis.
