Lurati Claudio

Rev. Claudio Lurati, MCCJ A Combonian Missionary of the Heart of Jesus, was born in Como on 21 February 1962 and ordained priest on 23 September 1989. He is at the present time parish priest of the Holy Family Church of Helwan (Cairo), Episcopal Vicar for Africans of the Latin Vicariat of Egypt, and Regional Superior of the Combonian Missionaries in Egypt. He has been in Egypt since 1995 and is principally involved in providing help to Sudanese refugees.
