Abdullah Sahin is a Muslim educator and works as Head of Research at Markfield Institute of Higher Education in the UK. He directed the research centre Muslim Educational Thought and Practice and coordinates the MEd programme in Islamic Education: new perspectives. He has completed an international research project on religious extremism and Muslim youth and has authored several academic publications in the field. He has been a visiting professor at EHESS in Paris, during the 2009-2010 academic year.
