Abdullahi Ahmed An-Na'im

Born in the Sudan, is the Charles Howard Candler Professor of Law at the Emory Law School (USA). A scholar of international standing on Islam and human rights from an inter-cultural perspective, he holds courses on international law, comparative consitutional law and human rights, and religion and human rights. His research interests include secularity, constitutionalism and citizenship in Islamic societies, and constitutionalism in Africa countries.
