A PhD candidate at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, he is preparing a dissertation on Islamic discourses and practices produced as a response to marginalisation, focusing on the social action of some Swiss Muslim associations. His research interests include the ideological differences in European Islamic movements and their participation in social and political life.
