Brian E. Ferme

Brian E. Ferme was born in 1955 and was ordained a priest in 1980. He studied philosophy, theology and canon law in Melbourne, Oxford and Rome. He is the author of many publications on the history of Canon Law. He was the Dean of the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifical Lateran University and of the Catholic University of America. Since 2008 he has been the Dean of the Faculty of Canon Law St. ‘Pius X’ and President of the Studium Generale Marcianum in Venice. Since 2014 he is Secretary of the Council for Economics.
