Francesco Strazzari is Associate Professor of International Relations at the Pisa-based Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies. He is also adjunct research professor at the Oslo-based NUPI (Norwegian Institute of International Affairs), where he joined the Consortium for Research on Terrorism and International Crimein 2013. He is specialized in International Relations theories and IR-related fields such as conflict studies. My main areas of expertise are European Union peripheries and neighborhood (Balkans, North Africa & the Sahel, Caucasus, Black Sea, Middle East).
