Johanna Pink is Professor of Islamic Studies and History of Islam at the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg. Her research interests include modern and contemporary Qur’anic exegesis, Qur’an translations, the status of non-Muslims in Muslim majority countries and contemporary Islamic thought. She is the author of Muslim Qur’anic Interpretation Today: Media, Genealogies and Interpretive Communities (2019).
