Mohyddin Yahia is Professor at the Dâr al-Hadîth al-Hasaniyya in Rabat. A specialist in classical Islamic law and thought, he is the author of a doctoral thesis on Shâfi’î et les deux sources de la loi islamique, a text book for the École pratique des hautes études. Within the Minister of Religious Affaires of Morocco, he collaborates to a critical edition of Muwatta’ and contributes regularly to the publications of the Laboratoire d’étude des monothéismes (UMR 8584).
