U.S. and Turkey Reach Compromise Over Manbij

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu have reached an agreement over the long standing US-Turkish debate over Manbij, a majority Arab town in Northern Syria, according to Amberin Zaman of Al-Monitor.

 

Islamic leaders across South Africa gathered at the Masjidul Quds in Gatesville on Sunday to witness signing of the Cape Accord. 25 organizations such as The International Peace College of SA and the Muslim Youth Movement joined the accord with hopes of fostering unity among Muslims nationwide, and denouncing extremist behavior.
