He holds a PhD in Public Law and is a lecturer of Public Comparative Law at the University of Padova, Italy. A senior fellow and visiting scholar at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University he also lectured at Emory University and Notre Dame University. He was a judicial clerk at the Italian Constitutional Court from 2011 to 2013. His interests include constitutionalism in Middle East as well as comparative perspectives on religious liberty and constitutional interpretation.
