María de los Ángeles Corpas Aguirre is Professor of Phenomenology and History of Religions at the Institute of Philosophy “Edith Stein” and at the Major Seminary “San Cecilio” (Archdiocese of Granada). She is also Professor of Contemporary History at the National University of Distance Education and Coordinator of Aleteia-Islam (Spain). Doctor in Geography and History, she is specialist in Islam, interreligious dialogue and relations between states and religious denominations. She is the author of Las Comunidades Islámicas en la España actual (1960-2008): Génesis e institucionalización de una minoría de referencia.
