He was born in Irbed in Jordan on 20 July 1948. He was ordained a priest in 1972 in Jerusalem and was for ten years Rector of the seminary of the Latin Patriarchate. In October 2005 he was appointed Bishop of Tunis. In 2010 he was appointed Archbishop of the same Diocese. Since January 2012 he has been Titular Archbishop of Medaba and Auxiliary Bishop of the Patriarch of Jerusalem for Jordan.
